Suzhou Medical Appliance Factory (Suzhou Huatao Acupuncture Instruments General Factory), a plant of over 140-year production history of Acupuncture Needles, is honored to be the State Second Class Enterprise and Hi-new-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province. 

It is one of the standing enterprises and export basis in China’s acupuncture needles and devices fields. “Hwato” Brand acupuncture needles continuously won the State Product Quality Gold Prize for three times, and the National Client-satisfied Products, Products of Famous Brand of Jiangsu Province.

Recent years, “Hwato” Brand Acupuncture Needles have gained TGA Certificate of Australia, FDA510(K) Certificate of America and CE-mark Certificate & TUV SUD PS ISO13485 ISO9001 Quality System Certificate, which is the first to get CE-mark in Chinese medical instruments trades. 

The products sold well on the markets of over 100 countries and districts in the world and well received by customers and the acupuncture needles are honored the “China Time-honored Brand” in 2006. 

The company had a second reform to join the Yuyue medical equipment Co. Ltd., A listed company in Jiangsu Province, and become a wholly-owned subsidiary of it.
